Dollar Movie time!
As you can see being home (PA) for a month was fun! It was so great to hangout with family and friends. But now it is time to say good-bye and start my travels for the summer and fall.
Today I am flying to Guadalajara, Mexico. I am excited to see family that I haven't seen in 6 years! I will be staying with my aunt Celia and will be attending Colegio de Español y Cultura Mexicana (University of Guadalajara). I will be taking a total of 4 classes there this summer, for my Spanish major.
In August I will be traveling to Peru to fullfil my Global Studies requirements of going abroad, volunteering at a non-profit and taking self-directed classes. I am currently still trying to find a non-profit and a host family so if anyone has any ideas of places in Peru please contact me. :)
This is my first time doing a blog so I hope that it is helpful for everyone to keep up with what's going on with me in my travels. I am hoping I will have time and most importantly wi-fi so that I can update my blog once a week, at least. My most important reason for starting a blog is to continue to ask for your prayers. Going abroad is exciting but it's also scary in a way. I am so very grateful that I have family to stay with in Mexico, but in Peru I will not know anyone.
Please keep me in your prayers, especially today as I am currently in Phoenix, waiting to board my next flight to Guadalajara, Mexico! :D
